Rostoucí význam Indie v mezinárodním obchodě s technologiemi

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the growing importance of India in international trade in technology, with a particular emphasis on information and communication technologies (ICT). The aim of the thesis is to analyze the development and structure of India's foreign trade in ICT products and ICT services and to assess the extent to which India achieves comparative advantages in these segments. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an analytical part. The analysis is based on a secondary analysis of data drawn from international databases and includes an assessment of trade performance, the development of the geographical and commodity structure, and comparative advantages. The results show that India has a strong position, particularly in the export of ICT services, while facing technological and structural constraints in the area of ICT products. The thesis also highlights the specific nature of India's specialization and the role the country plays in the global technology market.
