Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on risk assessment and a new security proposal of a particular nursery school. The theoretical part is devoted to the legal regulation and detailed description of physical security. The practical part comprises a description of criminality in the locality, including a comparison with the surrounding area. Subsequently, the selected nursery school is characterized, and the current state of physical security described and evaluated. The gained information is used in the risk assessment process. The last chapter contains an innovative suggestion of security arrangements in purpose to increase the level of physical security.
