Abstract
The thesis on the economics of fire protection deals with management of the Fire brigade rescue corps of Moravian-Silesian region.
The aim is to assess the management of the Fire brigade rescue corps of Moravian-Silesian region by the findings, submit proposals and recommendations.
The theoretical part deals with fire protection in the Czech Republic in general. It describes the historical development of fire protection in the Czech lands, legislation, government bodies and local authorities working in the field of Fire Protection, The Fire brigade rescue corps of the Czech Republic and its financing.
The practical part describes the organizational structure of the Fire brigade rescue corps of Moravian-Silesian region and evaluates its management. It analyzes the economic analysis of the budgets for individual years from 2006 to 2010 and then compares the whole period and makes suggestions and recommendations.
