Abstract

This diploma thesis concerns an increase of production efficiency, changing the production planning system and material flows in the company TATRA DEFENSE VEHICLE a. s. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part of this thesis presents the company TATRA DEFENSE VEHICLE a. s. and its production program. Furthermore, it deals with and clarifies terms such as logistics, production planning, production management, material flow management. The practical part of the thesis deals with the current state of material flows, production planning and production productivity of the selected department. It analyzes, evaluates and then makes suggestions for improvement of the current state of the company.
