Eliminace objemových změn na odvalech zasažených termickými změnami

Abstract

This paper is focusing on sanitation and recultivation of mining waste storage sites – dumps, in which were found thermal activity. This activity brings a number of negative phenomenon. Besides environmental problems it brings also a volume changes inside embankment, reflected in sizeable settlement. In most cases, these processes are negligible due to unimportance of affected areas. There are also dumps which are interested for a future planning due to its size and location and needs to be treated for safely and effectively using of the next generation. In this paper we meet with possibilities of the rehabilitation of these dumps with example application of certain methods.
