Abstract
This contribution is focused on changes of seismic waves velocities by means of ultrasonic sounding. Cylindrical samples (migmatite) loading was carried out under constant strain and stress rate. Special attention was devoted to the orientation between migmatite foliation and applied uniaxial load. Experiments were realized by using net of eight ultrasonic sensors. Measured data were processed by derived method of velocity ellipsoid approximation. Changes of velocities, orientation of ellipsoid axes and coefficient of anisotropy were analyzed and interpreted according to rock samples stress state.
