Abstract

In many companies are the stocks very expensive categories. Mainly because companies still have not found a suitable amount of safety stock so, as not to undermine the functions of inventory. These are especially immediate delivery of goods to customers or continuous supply of raw materials to production. At the same time the company has seen stocks so that was not too burdened finances bound in stocks. Also, in order to build a firm place in the competitive environment. In the theoretical part of this thesis will be familiar with the general meaning of inventory management methods and methods of analysis. In the second, practical part of them, you will be familiar with an unnamed company for which will be analysed their inventory management system and a system for creating safety stocks . Finally will be proposed new optimal inventory management solutions and introduce a system of recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of stocks in this company. The proposed recommendations will be eventually economically evaluated.
