Klauzy - malé vodní nádrže

Abstract

In this dissertation are described working small water reservoirs called “Klausy”, which are unknown for most people. In the first chapter is a short characteristic of Protected Landscape Area Beskydy, in which are these waterworks situated. This characteristic is in specific parts, as for example in flora, aimed at their habitat. In the next chapter are described history of building reservoirs and wood floating, the main reason for their building. In the next parts is detail described wood floating, advance workings and the actual process of wood floating. Detail description of all reservoirs mentioned in this dissertation involve their purpose, history, present state, technical characteristics reconstructed waterworks and the most important hydrological data. To this description are appended maps and current photos of each reservoir.
