Abstract

Why thermal insulation? The purpose of the implementation of insulation of existing building is to reduce heating costs due to the constantly rising prices for energy. After the insulation savings in heating costs are up to 50%. Also the thermal comfort in living quarters is improved. The new look of the house extends its overall life and increases the market price on the market. The aim of this thesis is the elaboration of technologicaly appropriate type of process for insulation of VOS tower house situated on the Průběžná street 1720/3 in Ostrava - Poruba. The building is 15 floors high with a flat-top roof. The thesis is handled as a project for building permits, including part of the necessary technical drawings, the technological process of insulation, the itemized budget, the schedule of works, the line harmonogram and the equipment of the construction site.
