Abstract
Diploma thesis Measurement on Electromagnetic Therapy Device deals with the effects of the electromagnetic field on an organism. Electromagnetic therapy is a kind of physical therapy that uses a magnetic field to treat. It is used for chronic pain and healing damaged tissue. There are several types of Electromagnetic therapy which is using different types of magnetic fields - pulse, alternating and direct current. The therapy is applied with Electromagnetic Therapy Device and its special applicators. We can found this in various medical fields - surgery, urology, psychiatry, etc. Finally the theoretical part deals with the effect on the cell and tissue. The practical part focuses on working with this device and recognizing the effect of the magnetic field. With the help of simulation in the COMSOL program, several exercises (with a magnet, thermal camera, etc.) and an agar phantom, we are introduced with the Electromagnetic Therapy Device and Electromagnetic therapy. Several different measurements are performed. Finally, the measurement results are compared with the results of computer simulation.
