Abstract

The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial health of the manufacturing company Bekaert Bohumín. Through selected analytical tools for financial management and methods of measuring economic performance ratios diagnoses of a business, identifies deviations and specifies measures for improvement. The theoretical part of the work is aimed at the description of methods of financial analysis and corporate performance primarily in terms of the basic financial goals - creation and increase in value for its owners. The practical part of the selected issue applies. Condition and stability defined using selected financial indicators and rating and default models. Key data on the performance and value of companies provides value indicator of economic value added. Synthesis of data contains the final summary.
