Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with physical security of the elementary school. The thesis is primarily focused on safe entrance to the building. Safe entry is a key element of security. The theoretical part deals with the prevention of crime and possible security solutions associated with the protective school. The main part of the thesis deals with the description about the current state of security of the elementary school and its evaluation. A risk assessment is carried out according to ČSN 73 4400 Crime Prevention – security management in planning, implementing and using schools and educational institutions. On the most serious risks are proposed measures, which meet the requirements of the ČSN 73 4400 Crime Prevention – security management in planning, implementing and using schools and educational institutions.
