Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with measurement of conductivity of polyaniline-clay-titanium dioxide (TiO2) composite. Kaolinite was used as a clay – carrier of TiO2 nanoparticles. Samples of polyaniline-clay-TiO2 composite were prepared in the powder form and then they were compressed to the pellets for specific electric conductivity measurement. Automation of the specific conductivity measurement process, general analysis of results of specific conductivity and proposal of possible practical utilization were parts of solution. It was necessary to solve these experimental tasks for targets attainment: • Creation of design for autonomous system for ballast value variation measurement (HW and SW). • Construction of apparatus for individual measurements. • Optimal programs realization for controlling the new equipment. Diploma thesis contains theoretical and practical part. Basic partition of materials important for following practical part is included in the theoretical part. Results of specific conductivity of prepared pellets, measurements during the ballast value change and general automation of the process (method of ballast value change) are stated in the experimental part.
