Abstract

The diploma thesis is devoted to valuation of business company specialising in medical devices. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis dealt with the definition of basic terms, procedures and analysis necessary for determining the valuation. Furthermore, the work focused on individual valuation methods, such as income, property or market. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, theoretical knowledge was applied to the selected business company to determine the value of the subject using two methods, namely income and property.
