Abstract

The subject of the thesis is to create a computer program to assess the resistance of various types of composite columns. The solutions are commonly used types of cross sections of composite columns. Plastic carrying capacity of individual cross sections is determined using the simplified method. Each type of column has considered optional parameters, dimensions and materials. Assessment of cross-section is performed under general and simplified interaction diagram of normal forces and bending moments. It is also used standards assessment according to ČSN EN 1994-1 for uniaxial and biaxial bending. The part of thesis is a brief summary of the properties of steel and concrete structures and principles of their design. The thesis is prepared in the range of 43 pages and 42 pages of attachments.
