Studie možností ochrany obce před bleskovou povodní

Abstract

The Graduation theses deal with the flash floods problems on the territory of the Czech republic. The theses analyze the history, course and danger of the flash floods. Other important terms in connection with protection against floods are defined. A part of the theses is dedicatet to the way of torrent precipitation forecast as torrent precipitation are one of the sources of the flash floods. The theses should result in a project of a possible solution of preventive municipality protection against the consequences of these floods. The theses consists of two parts. The first parts deals with the problems of floods it self. It explains their clasification, gives definition of specific therms and provides history of flash floods. The second part of the theses outlines factual possibilities of municipality protection against flash floods.
