Abstract
The following thesis is aimed at intercultural management application in American company where different cultures clash. The aim of the thesis is to describe how the company deals with cultural differences and to identify problems caused by cultural diversity. I was concentrated on ongoing change – management transfer. The study is divided into few parts. Theoretical part is focused on the concept of intercultural management and brief description of nations clashing in the company. Next part is about chosen organization and its analysis which was handled by critical incident technique and by interviews. The results show that the cultural differences are often underestimated and there is a lack of detailed planning of the integration processes in the company. I found out that understanding of cultural differences and learning how to respect them is crucial for successful realization of integration of several cultures, and it also helps to avoid cultural conflicts.
