Abstract

This thesis deals with the assessment of physical load of operators of steel pipes and profiles packaging lines in a multinational company, specifically in its branches in the Czech Republic and Poland. In this context, the thesis presents both Czech and Polish legislation on physical stress and the approach of each country to this issue. In addition, both individual methods and procedures for workplace assessment in terms of ergonomics are mentioned. The aim of this thesis is to assess and evaluate individual workplaces according to the current legislation and at the same time to determine effective measures that will help to improve working conditions.
