Klastry a jejich role v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

This thesis deals with the clusters and their role in the Moravian-Silesian region. It presents theoretical background, such as the definition of the cluster, their contribution and impact on competitiveness. In addition, a cluster analysis of policy of the Czech Republic and its public funding clusters. The paper also details the development and analysis of clusters in the Region, their basic characteristics and development elements. The final part presents the current performance of the selected clusters in the region. It shows the joint projects undertaken and planned to implement in the programming period 2007- 2013. The overall contribution of the thesis is to find out how clusters work and develop thanks to the influence of public financing support and affecting the development of the Moravian-Silesian region.
