Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the TBM machine, which is used in tunnel excavation. The aim of the work was to describe the development of this machine from its non-mechanized beginnings from 1825 through the present to the future. At work, I drew mainly from printed sources, which I supplemented with tables and pictures for greater clarity. The result of my work is an overall analysis of the TBM machine supplemented by a 3D model. In the end, I then summarized the future projects (constructions) for which this machine will be used.
