Těžba čediče v Českém středohoří

Abstract

In the introductory part is information about literature and its brief content, description of basalt rock and its composition as well as the general application of basalt in the world. The second part is referred to the history of Czech quarries and mining equipment. Quarries that were not mined are mentioned only in the passing. Legislation is recorded in abbreviated form in the third part. Then the passage describes the mining area of active quarries, including their size and their consistency of raw materials, principle mining methods and processing of raw materials. Then they are given the principles of mechanization transportation of raw materials from a bench technological whole. In some quarries are denoted reclamation activities. Finally is given information about findings from the visits of some quarries and my own opinion on thein activities.
