Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of reinsurance the stability of construction pits. Construction pits are designed according to Eurocode 7, which is described in more detail in this bachelor thesis. This work describes in detail the various types of construction pits, which need to ensure their stability and drainage. This work describes in detail the design of armored pits and use sheet pile structures. In the practical part of the work, a construction pit with 3 variants of the solution is assessed. Ensuring the stability of the sloping construction pit, sheet pile wall with an unstable groundwater level and negative sheeting without the influence of water. All 3 types are assessed in the Geo5 program in the Sheeting check module and the sloping pit in the Slope stability module. At the end of the work are summarized the results of calculations.
