Analýza provozu a zhodnocení cestovního ruchu na Baťově kanále

Abstract

The main target of this Bachelor thesis is the analyses of the operation and the evaluation of the tourism at the Bata Canal in the time period from 2002 to 2018. The fractional target of the Bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the received subsidy in relation with the growth of the region around the Bata Canal. The theoretical part of the Bachelor thesis is included in the initial two chapters. The first deals with the roles of the public and the private sector of the tourism at the Bata Canal, focusing on the non-profit organizations, the transport and the traffic infrastructure. The second describes the history and the presence of the Bata Canal. In the practical part there is the analyses of the service and the evaluation of the Bata Canal usage for the tourism divided by the regions. The resultant data shows the correct usage of the received subsidy by the increase of the transported persons over the years. The South-Moravian region declares the higher volume. It was found, that the highest use of the Bata Canal service is in the summer period and also at the long weekends.
