Abstract
This thesis describes the design and practical realisation of the electric vehicle control unit Democar. In the introductory chapter describes the current state of the electronic system of the vehicle Democar being developed in response to a drive which is the main goal of this work. Also included is a description of the collaboration between electronic systems in various driving situations. The following section describes selected components for vehicle propulsion. Chapter devoted to the design of the drive control unit includes a complete list of requirements for this unit and their detailed elaboration output is a complete block diagram of the unit. Implementation of the unit is divided into two parts in terms of hardware and software. Parts of implementation are communication outputs proving the functionality of the unit. The work is accompanied by an Annex in the form of schemes designed and implemented by the control unit.
