Abstract

The aim of this study was to design of a proposal of a technological device for heating and water warming in non-residential building. Primarily a variant of heat supply from the central supply system with a possibility of maximum use of primary heat in the form of steam and condensate was solved. The proposal of technology was carried out with regards to possibility of substitution of primary part with another available fuel type. Another part of this study was an economic assessment of fuel energy base which can be used for heating production and water heating in the building under consideration. A proposal of backup source for water heating is also included in this study. In relation to the present day trend of renewable energy a design of solar thermal collector system for yearround water heating was performed including an economic evaluation of investment return.
