Využití laserových snímačů v metalurgii

Abstract

The subject of the Bachelors thesis is “The Utilisation of laser sensors in metallurgy”. The goal is to focus on the issue of sensors, especially those of the laser type, to carry out the primary characteristics and analyze the basic measuring methods. Another part is concerned with application of the sensors in metallurgy industry, and in finding a more suitable sensor from the optical types, in case there is a negative impact on the original one. Finally, based on theoretical part, the measuring chain of the NCTD 1302 laser sensor, produced by MICRO EPSILON, is described, used in process of coal level measuring in reservoir. Advantages and disadvantages of this laser sensor are under evaluation process, and the suggestion is made to use a sensor in more effective way, with the help of radar one, which seems to be more suitable for the bulk mass measuring process.
