dc.description.abstractMigration is a prehistoric phenomenon. People have moved to other places for various reasons. Unprecedented migration could cause the city to malfunction if urban planning for the migration has not been anticipated. When the urbanisation problem combines with climate change, the situation worsens. The formation of slums and illegal settlements, as well as the scarcity of resources and issues related to urbanisation and climate change, are addressed by this model. Statistical methods, regression analysis, computational methods, and agent-based programming are used to design the model. The future number of migrants arriving in the cities is predicted, the kind of housing choices they will potentially choose is also forecasted, and the resources they require are also calculated. The city authorities and government officials can use this model to predict the housing choices of immigrants and gain an understanding of the resources utilised by immigrants, thereby taking proper measures to address the issues that arise.en
