Abstract

The thesis provides a broad description of the technical issues related to the electro-acoustic transducers, i.e. loudspeakers. The present thesis describes the working environment of the loudspeaker, the parameters and specifications including frequency characteristics and the classification and description of the loudspeaker’s parts. A part of the thesis concerns the modification of the loudspeaker’s magnetic circuit and its realisation. The objective of the modification was to replace the permanent magnet on the basis of a ferrite magnet by a neodymium magnet. The thesis further includes a comparison based on measurements, including comparative profiles arising thereof, and finally an evaluation of the achieved objectives.
