Abstract
Continuous glucose monitoring sensors have became a common accessory for support the treatment
of autoimmune disease diabetes mellitus. The main theme of this bachelor thesis is verify
the accuracy of two CGM sensors, Enlite and Dexcom G4 Platinum, for two different calibration
frequencies, for the minimal possible 2 times a day and than for 8 times a day. The goal was
to determine, if increasing the calibration frequency of the sensors has a positive effect on the
overall accuracy. Data analysis was performed in Matlab, and the accuracy was evaluated using
a Clarke Error Grid analysis and the MARD error.
