Abstract

In the proposed bachelor thesis it is generally discussed issue of machine and equipment maintenance. The thesis deals with individual tools of maintenance providing, evaluating and with possibilities of personal development of employees in emotional intelligence area as a set target to more effective functionality not only of maintenance department, but the entire company. Consequently on these attitudes and principles a methodology of machine and equipment maintenance used for open mining by Vršanská uhelná, a. s. was proposed. Then positives and negatives of the proposal in comparison to the contemporary established system were evaluated.
