Abstract

Jindřich Svatoš The aim of the diploma thesis is creation of a new water sports center on the river Vltava. The proposal is based on the urban study of the territory of Rohan island in Karlin, Prague. The center contains a boathouse, which serves as warehouse, repair shop and provides suitable space for the training of the athletes. Other objects are a café, observation tower, rental with sports accessories, restaurant and changing rooms for outdoor bathing designed as a bathing biotope.
