Abstract
In this bachelor work is processed detection problems of metal objects using technical means. A part of this work is aimed at the metal detectors for safety inspection of persons and articles, next part belongs to metal detectors for terrestrial searching, water searching and industrial metal detectors. They are described their working principles, noted the parting of these principles, using the instruments in practice and summarized inadequacies and possible mistakes of metal detectors for safety inspection.
