Abstract
This bachelor thesis addresses the design and implementation of a map-oriented monitoring layer for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in warehouse operations. The objective is to provide operators with a fast, clear, and reliable real-time overview of robot movement and operational status within a station. The thesis scope is limited to visualization and integration aspects; task planning,
dispatching, and direct robot control are intentionally excluded. The analytical part defines functional and non-functional requirements, compares alternatives for continuous data transfer, and specifies integration prerequisites in the WES environment. The design part introduces the target architecture, separation of initialization and live update channels, map element data model, and
coordinate transformation method. The implementation part describes backend event processing, publication data contracts, and frontend map rendering, including legend, tooltip, and task-context presentation. Functional verification is performed on representative operational scenarios focused on map initialization, incremental updates, and correct presentation of all information. The resulting
solution is a working monitoring map integrated into an existing system that improves operator situational awareness and supports faster detection of non-standard robot states in daily operation.
