Abstract
This thesis deals with the realization of simulated generator and analyzer of digitally modulated signals. It contains Software Defined Radio concept which has generation and analytic part. Another part of this thesis includes detailed analysis with the virtual and physical realization of the hardware and software model as a solution, which can analyze and generate digitally modulated signals in ideal or demoted shape. The result of this thesis includes a comparison of virtual (software) application in front of physical (hardware) application. Software application is purely software defined generator or analyzer only which needs a peripherial (type USRP) to interpret the signal on a physical layer. This comparison is based on virtual instrumentation which instead of purely electronics solution (as physical instrumentation) does not need a more complex hardware platform.
