Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to learn about BIM in transport engineering on the project D49 4901, which was under construction during the writing of the thesis. The author revisits the conceptual planning, model preparation for construction, introduces the use of state-of-the-art technology during construction, and also compares the available programs and software for modeling, analyzing and displaying BIM models.
The work is mainly devoted to the comparison of software for modelling road structures (Civil3D, CGS Plateia, Bentley OpenRoads), as well as the modelling of bridge structures with subsequent reinforcement in programs (Fusion360, Revit, All Plan Bridge and Bentley OpenBridge). The models were also enhanced with non-graphical information in the form of data related to the construction materials used.
