Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to create a proposal for improved methods and more efficient organization in the process of controlling and registering the conflict of interest in a joint-stock company. The beginning part of the thesis delimits the theoretical terms and framework. The principal part of the thesis offers introduction of a particular joint-stock company, its publicly offered services and mainly the description of its current processes of controlling and registering conflicts of interest. The thesis uses a difference analysis to identify the variations between current status and ideal status. Based on these differences the thesis defines root and causation for most conflicts of interest emerging in the joint-stock company. Last part of the thesis offers proposals for alternative and more efficient ways of organizing the processes of controlling, registering and preventing the conflict of interest.
