Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with crowd safety managament at large-scale events. The introductory passage of the theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to this issue and the classification of large-scale events based on several different criteria. The main part of the thesis deals with the identification of safety threats at large-scale events, their description and current measures. The thesis also discusses the psychology and behaviour of crowd at mass events, defining crowd safety management and its application to large-scale events. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the safety plan of a selected large-scale event, risk analysis and then conducting a comparative case study with other events.
