Abstract
This thesis is focused on problems of electrical power quality. The work emphasizes the important parameters that affect the voltage at different voltage levels of the distribution system.
At the beginning of the work, a preview on the issue of quality and specification of electrical power is processed. Here we find the parameters of voltage according to ČSN EN 50 160 ed.3 that are defined by this standard, and tables and graphics are added for better understanding. Compliance with this standard is one of the most important points of this work. At the end of the theoretical part, problems of measurement of the parameters of electrical power quality are described, which is again taken from the ČSN; then it continues with comparing certain network parameters, in particular from Elcom a.s., since this company has the largest representation in this area and the practical part is processed through it’s SW.
The most important part of this work is the evaluation of the parameters using several types of sources, such as photovoltaic power plant, cogeneration unit, wind power, small hydro power plant, biogas. Comparison of the parameters and comparison of the quality of electricity is done primarily by rules, especially the above mentioned ČSN EN 50 160 ed.3. Parameters, depending mainly on the performance (for example voltage – performance, performance – short-term flicker, performance – asymmetry) were used to compare electrical power quality.
