Věra Holubová, Ph.D. Bachelor thesis is focused on urban video surveillance system in the town Nový Jičín to identify risks and propose an extension or modification of video surveillance system. The first part deals with the theory of law and generally about video surveillance system. In the second part, practical part is elaborated the current state urban video surveillance system, risks identification using analyzes, crime statistics and safety survey of residents and the subsequent drafting, editing video surveillance system and it’s justification.
