Abstract
The thesis deals with the effects of pesticides on the environment with a closer focus on wildlife and the methods by which these substances can be removed. The work includes the distribution of pesticides, describes the characteristics of individual pesticides, focusing on their use and proven adverse effects on living organisms. The work also includes legislation on pesticides.
