Komparace území Euroregionu Bílé-Biele Karpaty

Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the Euroregion Bílé-Biele Karpaty. The aim is both to assess the socio-economic situation in the NUTS III Euroregion Bílé-Biele Karpaty, to assess disparities in both regions in various areas. The first part of this thesis is created by the introduction. Chapter titled Regional policy in relation to the Euroregions focuses on the common outline of regional policy defines the basic concepts, principles, objectives and instruments. A substantial part of this chapter is created by the definition of cross-border cooperation and related Euroregions. In the bachelor thesis is characterized the Euroregion Bílé-Biele Karpaty, especially its origin, development, funding, organizational structure, members of associations and specific projects. The thesis also includes a comparison of NUTS III Euroregion Bílé-Biele Karpaty and specifically comparison of the Zlín region and Trenčín region in terms of selected indicators. The final chapter of the thesis contains evaluation and summary of important information.
