Abstract

The diploma thesis on the topic "Business plan for the establishment of a pharmacy" reflects a comprehensive assessment of the requirements and obligations at the establishment of the pharmacy itself and its lifespan in the long term. At the beginning of the work, the theoretical starting points were analyzed. In the following chapter, the PEST and SWOT analysis methods and Porter's model of five competitive forces were applied for quality processing. Subsequently, from the point of view of financial analysis, it was necessary to calculate specific costs and estimate revenues according to optimistic, pessimistic and realistic alternatives. Last but not least, the break-even point was calculated according to the documents, which showed the necessary number of customers so that the pharmacy would not lose money. In conclusion, there was an evaluation and recommendations for the next procedure in building a market position, both from the financial and strategic point of view.
