Abstract
This project deals with the design and the construction of the Holter device.
The device is equipped with a miniature module of the EKG and an accelerometer.
The Holter device is designed on the microcontroller basis. The microcontroller makes it possible to control the collecting of data, which are saved on the microSD card. The EKG and the accelerometer record the patient's heart rhythm and his body activity. To ensure mobility, the device has also been equipped with a battery and a charging module. The project describes the Holter device as well as the EKG and discusses the design of the device and the functions of the modules, the resultant diagram, the printed circuit board (PCB), the construction as well as the results of testing.
The device has been produced and partially tested. It can be used for further examination and development.
