Biokompatibilní slitina na bázi Ti-Zr-Mo-Ta-Sn a její vlastnosti

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to a beta titanium alloy containing zirconium, molybdenum, tantalum, and tin, and its application for biocompatible purposes. The aim of the thesis is to determine the microstructural and mechanical properties of the alloy prepared using plasma metallurgy and to propose thermomechanical processing in order to optimize its properties. The theoretical part presents the general properties of titanium and its alloys. Special emphasis is placed on the characteristics and properties of beta titanium alloys intended for biocompatible implants. The mechanical properties of the alloy containing molybdenum, zirconium, tin, and tantalum are discussed. The practical part includes metallographic analysis, determination of microhardness and phase analysis of Ti-8Zr-17Mo-6Ta-2Sn alloy sample.
