Abstract

The main objective of this thesis was to examine the possibility of biodegradation of selected persistent organic pollutants in the sample from the site Bilina. I described the biodegradation of both theory and practical part, which included graphs of the input and output the results of selected persistent organic pollutants and the final evaluation results. In a sample of my setting out the amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyl congeners and the total amount of extractable non-polar substances. Biodegradation were used for bacterial cultures Pseudomonas putida and Rhodococcus sp., Which describe in more detail in Chapter Features selected bacteria. Laboratory experiment lasted four weeks, the concentrations of selected pollutants were compared during the initial analysis, a week after biodegradation and output analysis.
