Abstract

Objective of the thesis is to evaluate potential utilization of waste biomass from agricultural primary production for removal of selected heavy metals from model solutions. As biosorbent were used waste pod general beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Suitability of this biosorbent was verified by determination of its sorption capacity. Within the study of optimal conditions activation the biosorbent were studied different concentrations of the activation podium Hydrochloric acid and hydroxide solution. Biosorbents was adjusted for grain size 1-2 mm. Activated samples were applied to model solutions of Chrome and analyzed by Ultraviolet and visible spectroscopy. Top hexavalent chromium adsorbed sample enabled a molar hydrochloric acid for fifteen minutes activation. At least adsorbed sample activated 0,1 mol/l hydrochloric acid activated after fifteen minutes. Samples activated by sodium hydroxide, hexavalent chromium hardly did not absorb.
