Elektronický diabetický deník s funkcí selfmonitoringu a evaluace

Abstract

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a software that enables patients with diabetes mellitus type I., as well as type II., to register all information needed to treat their disease and represent data in the right way which would be easier for the patients to understand. This can lead not only to better communication between the patient and a doctor but also an overall improvement of treatment quality and most important – it can prevent any secondary complication of diabetes. All of the improvements mentioned above can lead to better life of patients diagnosed with diabetes. Part of the application is a module for calculating carbohydrate metabolism in food and the educational guide "Diabetes alphabet".
