Analýza skladového hospodářství a návrh na zlepšení

Abstract

The goal of this master’s thesis is the analysis of warehouse management od the DEVA F-M s.r.o. company by using inventory management tools and proposing a recommendation according to the results for improving of the current status. The master’s thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part there is a characteristic of basic concepts of warehouse logistic. Next the methods of inventory analysis used in practical part are defined – ABC analysis, XYZ analysis, turnover rate, turnover time and utilization of storage space. In the next chapter the DEVA F-M s.r.o. company is characterized. The chapter with using the methods described in the first part following and description of the current state of inventory management in the company. Next the interpretation of development results and their graphical visualization and summarization the findings and main problems. In the last part of master’s thesis recommendations and suggestions are made based on the results.
