Efekt iniciační energie na výbuchové parametry směsí paliva a vzduchu

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to predict and measure the explosion parameters of a mixture of fuel and air with the addition of pure methane in various volume concentrations. A mixture of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide were selected for the measurement itself and 10% methane was added to this mixture. This mixture is used and is created by the process of gasification of biomass and can be further used for syntheses in the chemical industry. The results are therefore applied in research into the initiation of hydrocarbon and alternative fuels. Within the work, the experimental apparatus for measurement with three different types of initiation was optimized - 10 J electric sparks, 100 J and 5000 J chemical initiator. For a given type of experiment, the results showed that 10 J spark values for gas mixture initiation gave the most conservative results, while the use of a 5000 J chemical initiator artificially reduced the results of the explosion parameters.
