Abstract

The thesis deals with mine waters and their use in balneology. The first theoretical part focuses on the genesis and division of mineral waters, properties of mine waters and how they are handled. The next chapter describes selected sites from a spa and mining point of view and their use for therapeutic purposes. The practical part evaluates the Jeremenko water pit as a selected site, its chemistry and the use of sodium chloride waters. The classification according to the Decree 423/2001 Coll. and the possible location of a new municipal spa must also not be missed.
